Garc\u00eda de la Cruz\u00a0has inaugurated\u00a0a new\u00a0olive harvest\u00a0in a ceremony held in\u00a0their own facilities. The regional President of Castilla La Mancha, Mr. Emiliano Garc\u00eda-Page, was the exceptional guest. The ceremony was also attended by the Castilla-La Mancha Regional Government\u00b4s Secretary for Agriculture, Environment and Rural development Mr. Francisco Martinez Arroyo,\u00a0the President of the Diputaci\u00f3n of Toledo, Mr. \u00c1lvaro Guti\u00e9rrez Prieto and members of the leading national\u00a0 associations of the olive oil industry.<\/p>\n
Garc\u00eda de la Cruz\u00a0has\u00a0presented its\u00a0Early Harvest\u00a0Olive Oil, a very high quality early harvest oil rich in aromas and nuances\u00a0 which raise this product to a\u00a0luxury oil.\u00a0The new packaging of the product\u00a0is presented with a\u00a0totally renewed design in which\u00a0 art has an important role to play merging literature and gastronomy.<\/p>\n
Following a funny visit of D. Quixote and his loyal squire Sancho Panza,\u00a0the turn for statements came. Mr. Fernando Garc\u00eda de la Cruz, CEO of the company\u00a0mentioned \u201cthe outstanding efforts made by the oil sector in recent years\u00a0that have helped Spain to be able to demonstrate its leadership in the world\u00b4s largest markets\u201d. He finalized with\u00a0moving words of support for his partner and brother, Mr. Eusebio Garc\u00eda de la Cruz, who has recently moved to New York to spearhead the management of the subsidiary\u00a0recently established\u00a0in USA.<\/p>\n
The olives that were harvested four hours before were transported to the oil mill in a traditional\u00a0way:\u00a0a mule, a cart and large baskets, to pay homage to the traditional harvesting.<\/p>\n
Authorities and Management visited the oil mill facilities completely renovated. A fully automatic stainless steel cleaning and washing system has been\u00a0installed in the patio where olives are unloaded and cleaned. This system follows the highest quality standards required on the international stage, IFS and BRC.\u00a0The manufacturing area has been extended grinding 350tn a day, that is 200tm more than before.<\/p>\n
With this ceremony, Garc\u00eda de la Cruz has started a new olive harvest which, according to forecasts, is expected to be\u00a0 productive in Spain\u00a0as according to the International oil Committee our country will produce 50%\u00a0of the world output of olive oil.\u00a0 Considering the consumption of the rest of producer countries, Spain will have 80% of oil available to export.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
